Bait-Tech Angler – Shaun Sharman

Shaun started fishing a little pond behind his house with his dad when about 9 years old catching crucian carp. Then joining Redgrave Lake at the age of 13 when his dad would drop him off most days in the school holidays and then mainly fished in winter time for pike. But he got the carp fishing bug a couple of years later when he started going to bigger gravel pits with his cousin Shaun was soon catching 20lb+ carp and hasn’t looked back.

Top Tip: Travel light be ready to move on showing fish at a drop of a hat, don’t set up your bivvy until last light, fish of your barrow so you able to move quickly to get on the fish.

Personal Future Goals: To catch a UK 40lb + and to carry on catching stunning looking carp.

Achieved in Angling: Catching a 60lb 4oz, 55lb 8oz backed up with numerous 40’s, 30’s and 20’s on my most recent trip to France, also had my 1st carp weighting 29lb 8oz on a zig last year.
