Bait-Tech Angler – Richard Cox

Richard grew up plying his trade on the River Taff from the age of 6 catching roach, dace, chub, eels and grayling on a ledger or stick float. He progressed into match fishing for local clubs around the country until he fished a local lake and banked a 13lb leather carp…super excited. Richard then wanted the buzz of big fish so went back to the rivers to establish himself catching big barbel and a few carp. After his first trip to France he then decided that it was the path he wanted to follow. Richard fishes in France at least twice a year fishing some unheard of waters and always looking for the next one. He’s fishing the River Wye in the coming season hunting some big river monsters after his successful winter campaign he’s raring to go plus he’s another sneaky water which may produce some belters!
