I am back out for my Sunday afternoon/night trip which I have missed recently, mostly due to fishing days.
I recently had a visit to a new venue for me: the Middle Level drain at Crooked Chimney, which is controlled by Kings Lynn angling. This was always a favoured hot spot in years gone by, so hopefully today was going to be fruitful.
The Drennan Knockout Cup is one of my favourite events of the year, it attracts a fantastically talented field of anglers and getting through even the first round is a tough call, if you don’t get it right – you’re a goner!
Most of you guys have already heard of the Poloni boilie. The Bait-Tech Carp boys have done really well during testing and I’m sure that all the users will be evenly impressed as they were.
I always look forward to this 3 day festival with 3 lakes in use with 60 anglers on it spread over the lakes rotating all 3.
The festival is run over three days Monday 13th July-Wednesday 15th July…..
I decided to head to Stonham Barns after work for the evening open match.
