Nisa Waveney Bait-Tech Juniors Match Report

Report from Saturday’s (10th March) match held at Thwaite:

A good turn out for the 1st match of the season, 15 juniors arrived to fish in what was a very mild spring day.

The winner on the day was up and coming star Jamie Gooderham fishing from the fancied peg 9 he put together a weight of 35lb. 2nd and fishing in the next peg 9 was James Coathupe who weighed in with 26lb 6oz, not to be outdone Jamie’s brother Nathan fishing from peg 20 finished 3rd with 24lb 1oz.

It was good to welcome several new members to the club, all who put on an impressive performance at their 1st club match. Everyone weighed in and all enjoyed the day. Thanks to FMS for the use of their lake and also to Viscount Tackle Ipswich for sponsoring the league.

A note to add: Josh Rhind fished an adult open match at Stonham Barns on Sunday  11th , he won his lake and came 2nd overall, not bad considering he was the only junior – well done Josh!
